Van ezel tot muur collection

One of the ways in which the 'Van ezel tot muur’ Foundation connects people is through a special art collection. This collection has two components.

The first part consists of an art collection for exhibiting art from its own collection and/or collaborations. These exhibitions will raise money for the foundation and for, among other things, research into Landau-Kleffner syndrome.

The second component consists of a separate collection from which chronically ill children, adolescents and young adults can select a work to hang or put up temporarily or, if donated, permanently in their residence (hospital, clinic or own bedroom). In this way we can use art to bring a spark of joy in the spaces where young chronically ill patients spend most of their time. This is often also the place where the setbacks occur.

All the more reason to have a piece of recognition, acknowledgement and security around you and/or with you in the form of art.

To open our lending collection, patients with LKS and/or related disorders will be the first to choose a work from the Van ezel tot muur art collection.
