The mission of the foundation "Van ezel tot muur" is to connect and support people who are affected by the Landau-Kleffner syndrome (hereinafter referred to as LKS) and its consequences and its related congenital and/or acquired conditions, diseases and disorders. to get. This means that the foundation is committed not only to the children who themselves suffer from this rare epilepsy syndrome, but also to the young people and young adults who experience the aftermath, for all their relatives and for doctors, healthcare providers, scientists and other parties who deal with LKS. dealing.

Having an illness, condition or disorder can often have drastic consequences for life, but by looking at the possibilities instead of the limitations, much more can be gotten out of life. We want to create the best possible quality of life for everyone with or after LKS. The foundation “From easel to wall” will organize art activities and collect more knowledge about the syndrome to make it accessible to everyone. From donkey to wall will also draw attention to LKS, so that more research into LKS can be done and the quality of life of people with or after LKS can be improved.
