Over

Chairman - Nicoliene Papenburg - founder and expert by experience

I am an entrepreneur, designer, interior architect, concept thinker, artist and mother of 4 children, all with the necessary baggage regarding conditions and diseases. Three of our four children have been diagnosed with epilepsy, among other things, two of whom (identical twins) have been diagnosed with LKS and one has also been diagnosed with CSWS. From my own experience I know all too well how much impact diseases in general, but specifically Landau-Kleffner syndrome, can have – both on children with the syndrome themselves and later, and on their immediate environment. Living together with Bart and our children in a green, quiet area just above Amsterdam.

Secretary - Camilla Meijer - expert by experience

I am Camilla, independent environmental psychologist/placemaker, mother of Flynn (only child from 2007), diagnosed in 2013 with an atypical form of the Landau Kleffner Syndrome with an ESES/CSWS image and a GRIN2a mutation demonstrated in 2016. The art form in which Flynn has managed well in recent years is theater, that is his passion and his life. Together with Flynn's father and dog Rosie, we live in green and colorful Amsterdam South East.

Treasurer - Judith van Beek - person involved

My name is Judith and I live in beautiful Utrecht together with Ralf and our son and daughter. In daily life I have a commercial role. As a counterpart, I therefore enjoy working for the foundation to actually contribute something and make a small difference in the lives of people who are affected by LKS.
